The Islands of Valor Initiative (IVI) is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of veterans and their families across the U.S. Virgin Islands. By blending recreational activities, skill-building workshops, and social gatherings with the unique culture and natural beauty of the islands, IVI creates a safe space for veterans to heal, grow, and rediscover purpose.

IVI Will Deliver

  1. Peer Support Networks: Weekly coffee hours, mentorship, and family-inclusive events.
  2. Skill-Building Workshops: Mental health first aid, financial literacy, and career transition support.
  3. Recreation & Tourism Integration: Veteran-led island tours and collaborations with hotels and operators.
  4. Community Pride Campaigns: Locally designed “Virgin Islands Veteran” merchandise to fund programs.
